Acro Performance Team Program
Our acro program combines the grace of dance and acrobatic movement with the power of tumbling and the wow of trampoline to create fun and unique performances.
Why did we choose a performance emphasis for our gym?
- Creativity One of the things we love about offering this performance program is that there is no limit to the creativity with which we can approach choreography and movement. There is a wide world of “Acro” skills that we get to explore including elements of capoiera, yoga, breakdance, partner skills, gymnastics and much more. This opportunity to explore, innovate, and use our imagination, keeps the program fresh and exciting for all of us.
- Youth grow through performing It is so fun to watch the youth in this program grow through their performance opportunities. We have found that even youth who are initially hesitant to get in front of an audience usually need just one experience to fall in love with performing. Each child gets to feel like a star when they are on stage and each child is rewarded with the applause of the audience at the end of their performance. It really is a source of joy and confidence building for our team members.

- Acrodance (A combination of acro or gymnastics tumbling skills with various dance styles)

Performance Opportunities
Team members perform at a variety of venues throughout the year including recitals, First Night, Griz Half-time shows, and our own annual show, ACROtainment.
