BOYS ALL-AROUND GYMNASTICS
& FITNESS PROGRAMS

Welcome to the Boy’s All-Around Gymnastics and Fitness Program. Participating in this program will provide you with a lot of fun opportunities to gain new skills, make new friends, and increase your fitness.
- This program is called the “All-Around”program because it includes each of the traditional events of men’s gymnastics. The name “All-Around” also describes the well rounded fitness experience that training on each event provides. Floor tumbling and apparatus develop flexibility, core body strength, and powerful arms and legs. The trampoline is a fantastic place to gain spatial awareness and body control. By learning at each event, children gain confidence in themselves, and coordination through out their bodies.
We are so excited to get to know you and to share our passion for gymnastics and fitness with you.
There are three levels in the Boy's All-Around Gymnastics and Fitness Program. They are as follows:
1. Boys Mighty Mites (level 1)
2. Boys Iron Man (level 2)
Curriculum Includes:
- Bars
- P- Bars
- Rings
- Floor Skills
- Vaulting exercises
- Trampoline
- Strength and Flexibility training
We beleive fitness should be fun, so whenever it is possible and appropriate, we turn learning skills into games and fun contests. This keeps class and developing fitness a joy rather than a chore.
Fitness Games!(New to our Boy’s All-Around Programs as of Summer 2011)
Participating in gymnastics is not just about gaining great gymnastics skills, it is also about becoming a more fit person with increased strength, balance, stamina, and power.
We want to document and celebrate your achievements in increasing your fitness through gymnastics classes, so we are instituting regular events called "Fitness Games!" Fitness Games are approximately 1½ hours of individual and team challenges including (but not limited to) team obstacle course relays, climbing relays, tug of wars, and team pull-over challenges. Along with these challenges, each participant will get a chance to test for progress in their fitness based on conditioning skills that are a regular part of class curriculum.
Fitness Games will be held every other month, mid month, on a Saturday morning. As you attend each Fitness Game, you will be able to compare your fitness scores and watch as your scores increase over the course of the year. This is such an important part of knowing how well you are doing and how much you are succeeding.

What should my child wear?
Most girls wear a leotard. A t-shirt and active wear pants or shorts are OK for boys and girls. We prefer bare feet in order to make climbing easier. For general safety purposes please be sure that long hair is pulled back, and no jewelry. Food, drinks and gum are not allowed in the gymnastics area.
